Abortionists Enraged. They May Have to Clean Their Surgery Rooms!

Like cockroaches, abortionists absolutely loathe the light. That's why they fight like demons (and alongside demons, I should add) against informed consent, against ultrasound, against parental choice, against sidewalk counselors and pro-life pregnancy centers, against the rights of women to sue for botched abortions...and even against the most basic, common sense regulations of the state regarding health, sanitation and protocol.

Here's a Washington Times story with an example. And please note the rationality of the Attorney General's position vs the admission by the abortionists that their profit margin can't withstand the costs of keeping their grisly businesses clean and safe!

Virginia has the legal right to regulate abortion clinics in the same manner it currently regulates hospitals and surgery centers, says Attorney General Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, a ruling that pro-choice advocates say could cost abortion providers $2 million and put most of them out of business...

"The state has long regulated outpatient surgical facilities and personnel to ensure a certain level of protection for patients. There is no reason to hold facilities providing abortion services to any lesser standard for their patients," said Brian J. Gottstein, a spokesman for Mr. Cuccinelli.
"Even pharmacies, funeral homes and veterinary clinics are regulated by the state," he said.

Tarina Keene, executive director of NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, said meeting the structural requirements of the regulations could cost as much as $2 million and would be "financially prohibitive" for abortion providers.
..

Letters of thanks to Mr. Cuccinelli are very much in order as are letters to the AG in your state to follow his lead.

"Moral Evolution" Professor Caught Cheating

"Moral Evolution" Professor Caught Cheating

It took 3 years of investigating (Where's Mannix when you need him?), but Harvard University has finally decided that Professor Marc Hauser, an accepted expert in the field of moral evolution, did some "devolving" along the scale by committing “eight instances of scientific misconduct."

Yipes.

But can the professor really be blamed for faking the results of his experiments? After all, he insists that human moral codes derive from our neurological structure. No God. No spiritual conscience. It's all a matter of physiological wiring.

And Harvard has applauded him for these claims.

But, like is almost always the case with people who academically deny the presence of binding, universal moral standards, none of them are willing to really live like it.

Therefore, Harvard may laud Dr. Hauser's ethereal philosophy which denies moral standards but, by golly, when the school is shamed because Hauser gets caught in “problems involving data acquisition, data analysis, data retention, and the reporting of research methodologies and results,” they have no problem in bringing down the gavel.

Hauser himself fails to live up to his philosophy. For when Harvard officials finally nail him for cheating, he doesn't spit in their face and proudly repeat that there is no scientific basis for such outdated notions as right or wrong, cheating or fair play.

No, the intellectual fraud hangs his head and apologizes.

Welcome back to the real world, Doc.

Jim Wallis Caught Lying About Soros Money; Then Lies Some More

There is an old saying that politics make strange bedfellows. A great example of this is seen in the union of a George Soros, Jewish born billionaire who collaborated with the Nazis and was convicted of insider trading, funding the organization of Jim Wallis: Christian writer and political activist, founder and editor of Sojourners magazine, leader of the Progressive evangelical movement, Obama adviser and advocate for "social justice."

Sammy from The Lid blog goes on to review the time line of this important story. 1) Marvin Olasky blows the whistle on Jim Wallis, showing that the liberal religionist has been getting big money from Soros since 2004. 2) Wallis mocked Olasky and brazenly lied about the huge Soros donations, going so as to claim "we don't receive money from George Soros." 3) Tax returns from Wallis' organization were made public, revealing the millions Soros had given and marking Wallis as a fibber extraordinaire. 4) Caught red-handed (ignore the pun), Wallis could not nothing else but admit his lie -- kinda'.

Here's how he tried to spin it.

Recently, I participated in an interview about the future of Evangelicalism. The interviewer asked about a blog post in which an author made accusations about Sojourners' funding. I should have declined to comment until I was able to review the blog post in question and consulted with our staff on the details of our funding over the past several years. Instead, I answered in the spirit of the accusation and did not recall the details of our funding over the decade in question. The spirit of the accusation was that Sojourners is beholden to funders on the political left, which is false. The allegation concerned three grants received over 10 years from the Open Society Institute that made up the tiniest fraction of Sojourners' funding during that decade -- so small that I hadn't remembered them. Sojourners doesn't belong to the political left or right. Sojourners receives funding from individuals and organizations across a broad spectrum who are committed to our mission of "biblical social justice."

To which Sammy responds,

Holy Cow, Sojourners must raise lots of money to consider over $7 million from one person a "tiniest fraction." Or maybe Wallis is suffering from some sort of memory loss because the group's total revenue in 2008 for example, was only $4.6 million...

Wallis has shown that he is a liar and considering his false charges of Olasky lying, he is also someone who disregards the commandment about bearing false witness. There is nothing wrong with Wallis having his religious beliefs even if I disagree with them. What is wrong is that the Obama adviser misrepresents those beliefs and their political nature, even to the point of lying about them.

NY Times: "No Evidence that the White House Is Being Dishonest."

In the previous post I suggested that Ben Austin had the quote of the day. Well, that was before I spotted this doozy from the editors of the New York Times, "There is no evidence that the White House is being dishonest."

The editorial concerns the huge disparity between administration claims that most of the Gulf oil spill has ("Poof!") disappeared and subsequent reports from independent scientists, including Science magazine's description of an underwater oil plume the size of Manhattan.

And even though the Times desperately wants to provide cover for Team Obama , the editorial will make for very uncomfortable reading at the White House today.

LA Can't Afford Cops & Firefighers. But a $578 Million High School? No Problem.

My nod for quote of the day comes from this AP story (via the Drudge Report) on LA's $578 million high school building.

Says Ben Austin, executive director of Parent Revolution, "New buildings are nice, but when they're run by the same people who've given us a 50% dropout rate, they're a big waste of taxpayer money. Parents aren't fooled."

Obama: No Church, No Press, No Skill in the Bunkers

Another Sunday, another missed opportunity for President Obama to prove to America he’s not a Muslim.

But instead of attending church services at one of the dozens and dozens of quaint, island Christian churches yesterday morning, the commander in chief hit Our Lady of the Fairways, aka the Vineyard Golf Club, yet again, to play 18.

Obama again teed off with Chicago pal Eric Whitaker and aide Marvin Nicholson . Rounding out the foursome was Bill Lewis, a regular Vineyard vacationer who played with Obama and Whitaker last year. Once again, the press corps was kept far, far away from the presidential golf party.

Perhaps the Leader of the Free World is a little sensitive about his game. Because our spies report that Barry was hacking away at a ball in the bunker on the 12th hole...before giving up and throwing it onto the green. Shades of Bill Clinton!...

Now you’d think, with polls showing that one in five Americans believe Obama is a Muslim - and with the furor over the president’s flip-flops on the Ground Zero mosque - that his White House handlers might have orchestrated a nice little photo op of the first family doing a little vacation worshiping yesterday morning.

Because, despite the administration’s insistence that Barry is a Christian and that he prays daily, most Americans have noticed that Obama rarely attends church. That’s a noticeable departure from previous presidents, such as George W. Bush and Clinton, who were on their knees every Sunday.

Of course, the last time Obama had a regular church, it was Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright fame, and, well, we all know how that turned out...

ACLU, Obama Administration Pressuring Religious Hospitals to Do Abortions

It seems that the Department of Health and Human Services is tightening the screws on religiously affiliated hospitals to force them to perform abortions.

This Citizen Link story has the details, including the unsurprising news that the ACLU is one of the key players in the drama. The misnamed civil liberties organization (unjustly selective in just whose "liberties" they wish to protect) is urging the government to ignore freedom of conscience, deliberately subvert freedom of religion, and grossly misinterpret the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act in order to require religious hospitals to kill preborn boys and girls.

Not, of course, that the Obama administration needs any further encouragement to promote abortion.

Bill Donahue, president of the Catholic League, comments, "We live in a day and age of militant atheism. There are people in our society led by the ACLU. They’re not alone in wanting to basically impose a secular agenda on American society. They are anti-Christian. They are expressly anti-Catholic. And now what they’re trying to do, of course, is basically to shut down Catholic hospitals or ask them to prostitute their own doctrinal prerogatives."

"President Obama, when he went to Notre Dame University here a year ago, said that he believed in conscience rights. Well, now we’ll find out. No religion should have to compromise its rights and check its doctrinal prerogatives at the church door."

Muggeridge Saw the Future

And They Dare Think Barack Obama Is Not a Christian!

Tweaking the Turkey: Dems Plan to Spin Health Care

Muggeridge Saw the Future

"Our Western way of life has come to a parting of the ways; time's takeover bid for eternity has reached the point at which irrevocable decisions have to be taken. Either we will go on with the process of shaping our own destiny without reference to any higher being than Man, and deciding ourselves how many children shall be born, when and in what varieties, which lives are worth continuing and which should be put out, from whom spare parts -- kidneys, hearts, genitals, brain boxes even -- shall be taken and to whom allotted.

Or we draw back, seeking to understand and fall in with our Creator's purpose for us rather than to pursue our own; in true humility praying, as the founder of our religion and civilization taught us: Thy will be done.

This is what the abortion controversy is about, and what the euthanasia controversy will be about when, as must inevitably happen, it arises."

(Malcolm Muggeridge in a prescient statement from the 1980s)

And They Dare Think Barack Obama Is Not a Christian!

It is a sign of just how out of touch Team Obama is when they are perplexed, even indignant over the new poll results showing that a substantial percentage of Americans believe their man to be a Muslim.

For instance, in remarks made to reporters yesterday, White House spokesman Bill Burton managed to show his general contempt for the seriously religious (it's a key element of political correctness that spiritual concerns be private and peripheral) as well as insisting that because he "prays every day" that Barack Obama "is obviously a Christian."

But is Obama's crew so utterly, mindlessly carnal that they cannot understand why Americans might suspect the Christianity of their man? After all, he has zealously promoted the heinous actions of abortion and embryo-destructive experimentation. And there's that business of his 20-year loyalty to a racist preacher whose religion was more Marxist philosophy than biblical Christianity. Furthermore, President Obama proudly carries the banner not for Catholic or evangelical groups but for Planned Parenthood and homosexual advocates.

And what of Barack Hussein Obama's Muslim childhood? The man has been mysteriously silent about almost everything in his past except for his endearing memories of Islam.

Obama's socialism clearly trumps whatever spiritual values he entertains. Remember his comments a few weeks ago insisting than individual salvation was intertwined with collective salvation? That's not Christianity; that's heresy. And Americans have seen that Obama prefers golf to church attendance; that his programs and numerous appointments marks the most extreme of anti-life, anti-family agendas; and that the breadth of the Nanny State he envisions would re-define freedom of religion to be merely freedom of worship (meaning don't let your religion effect anything outside of your hour of devotion inside the sanctuary).

A few other reasons why Americans might doubt their President's Christianity? Well, let's see. His administration has all but ignored the cause of human rights (especially the persecution of Christians). And after he got Christians' votes, he dismantled the office he had created for cooperation with faith-based agencies. And, oh yes; the "devotional" computer program that he claims to be a key part of his Christian experience contains more poetry and quotes "from the world's great religions" than it does from the Bible.

To illustrate the matter in a different way, take Muslim author Asma Gull Hasan. She's very liberal and a big fan of Barack Obama. The man's policies and pronouncements elicited from her an op/ed published in Forbes that reinforce the opinions of that 24% in the PRC poll. And the article, "My Muslim President Obama," was written even before Obama had a chance to really show his stuff.

And what about character issues? Barack Obama has proven arrogant, conniving, vindictive, and self-centered to the max. He has consistently lied to the American public. He has borne false witness. He makes false promises. And the only religion he has shown respect for, the only religion he praises publicly (and often), the only religion that he caters to please with his political policies...is Islam.

This, Mr. Burton, is not the lifestyle or the social platform of "an obvious Christian." And that's why 24% of those responding to the poll believe Barack Obama is a Muslim, a substantially higher number that answered similar polls earlier in his presidency. It's what the man has done (and failed to do) that creates this opinion, not the occasional assurance from a White House aide.

"By your fruits, you shall know them," said Jesus. And the fruits of the Obama presidency reveal something quite different than genuine Christianity.

Tweaking the Turkey: Dems Plan to Spin Health Care

The Weekly Standard has a great piece this morning about how the Democrats are planning to spin their health care fiasco for the November elections. That's gonna' be quite a job because the public absolutely hates what the Democrats have done to them.

President Obama made a lot of promises about the health care takeover which turned out to be nothing but lies. And the Dems in Congress went right along with him -- wheeling and dealing, bribing and bamboozling -- all the way to their lowest popularity levels ever.

And now, in characteristic Obama fashion, the Democrats are "hoping beyond hope" that the public will buy the latest line. It's a strategy which privately acknowledges the groundswell of public opinion to repeal the whole doggone thing but instead asks America -- "Trust us to fix our mistakes."

It'll never work, you say? The health care takeover was just too expensive, too counter-productive, too socialist, too revealing of the Democrats' penchant for lies and larceny?

Well, remember they'll have money for plenty of TV and radio commercials plus the loyalty of the liberal press to make the mainstream "news" programs into Democrat commercials too.

So don't take things for granted. Pass the facts on to your friends and enemies alike. Being played for patsies when the stakes are this high is bad for business, bad for the citizenry and bad for the cause of personal liberty.

Here's some of that Weekly Standard story:

Politico has released a piece that begins as follows: "Key White House allies are dramatically shifting their attempts to defend health care legislation, abandoning claims that it will reduce costs and deficit, and instead stressing a promise to 'improve it.'" This is a truly remarkable sentence. Legislation that the Congressional Budget Office says would cost about $2.5 trillion in its real first decade (2014 to 2023) wouldn't do the one thing that Americans most want out of health-care legislation: cut health care costs. It wouldn't, despite the administration's repeated claims to the contrary, cut deficits. But, on the bright side, it can (allegedly) be improved. That's an amazingly tepid claim to make on behalf of something with Obamacare's price tag.

The truth is that Obamacare cannot be improved. It can only be repealed. It was passed as "comprehensive legislation," and it must be repealed comprehensively...

Politico reports that White House allies' "confidential presentation" (it was leaked to Politico "by a source on the call" on which it was outlined) "concedes that groups typically supportive of Democratic causes," including those under 40, "have not been won over by the plan." Indeed, Rasmussen's latest survey shows that voters in their 30s favor repeal by a 37-point margin (67 to 30 percent), while those voters in their 30s who feel "strongly" (either way) support repeal by the tally of 61 to 17 percent.

Perhaps most tellingly, Politico writes that the presentation's "final page of 'Don'ts' counsels against claiming 'the law will reduce costs and deficit.'" Instead, the presentation advises, "Keep claims small and credible"; "don’t overpromise or 'spin' what the law delivers." Thus, the administration’s central claim from the start – made ad nauseam by everyone from President Obama on down – that Obamacare would somehow reduce health care costs, is apparently just "spin." (This, of course, was recognized by a great many Americans all along.) And now, a $2.5 trillion law that's longer than War and Peace must, incredibly, be defended on the basis of claims that are "small and credible.

Checking Vital Signs

I should do this more than I do; that is, take a Vital Signs Blog post to update visitors about what else is happening with Vital Signs Ministries. Let me do so quickly and we can all get back to work. :)

* The latest LifeSharer letter is up over at the Vital Signs Ministries web site. It is, for the second month in a row, presented in a newsletter format instead of our traditional approach. Well, take a good look at it because the experiment is over. We're going back to our old style next month. In this month's edition, there's information on "P.A.L. Nights," an excerpt from a recent sermon, an update on "When Swing Was King," and more.

* Speaking of "When Swing Was King," our new outreach for seniors has another performance tomorrow afternoon. Plus we've been invited to present it at three more facilities! The number of nursing homes, assisted living facilities and retirement centers who now have us on a monthly schedule is increasing too. In fact, everywhere Claire and I have given a "When Swing Was King" program, they've invited us to come back regularly! It's been a terrific response.

* The sidewalk counseling ministry which we conduct outside the Bellevue abortion mill on Monday mornings is continuing apace. It's been pretty busy there the last few weeks but there are reasons to hope that there were a couple of turnaways. Normally we will never know for sure and our duty is merely to be faithful to the call (loving, winsome, consistent), but certainly our hearts are lifted at the possibilities that mothers have decided for life and against abortion.

* Also over the Vital Signs Ministries website are audio files of all of the sermons I've given in the "Beasts of the Bible" series at Faith Bible Church (1555 S. 27th with Sunday’s service beginning at 10:30). The last two concern lions and ravens with specific attention given, respectively, to Daniel and Elijah.

* Under construction (I hope to be finished within the week) is a new Power Point presentation about the Church's teaching against abortion throughout history. We plan on providing it at the VSM web site, on You Tube and other places on the internet.

* Other things happening? An upcoming letter-writing night, a couple of other ideas for pro-life Power Point programs for the web, Saturday morning prayer vigils outside the new Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in northwest Omaha, and development of new "When Swing Was King" programs. It'll keep us busy.

We always hope and pray that individuals who read through our monthly LifeSharer letter -- along with surveying our web site, our history, and the daily postings on this blog -- will find themselves desirous of helping us in our crucial and comprehensive work. You can do so by prayer, by participating in our various activities, by encouragement and, yes, by financial contribution. The last can be provided simply by using this donation link. We would be very grateful for such help (in any amount) so thank you very, very much.

Gimmicks, Gadgets and Lady Gaga: Hipster Churches Are Missing the Mark

Brett McCracken is a 20-something evangelical who is blowing the whistle on the disturbing, dumb and sometimes demented policies the modern church has stooped to in order to "reach" the young. Bottom line? It's not working. And even if it did, it wouldn't make a religion created in the image of a modern hipster right.

I'm hoping this Wall Street Journal article will wake a few people up, turn a few people around and get us all talking about a Christ-centered religion that relishes Bible teaching, insists on purity and good deeds, and points towards heaven. Check out these excerpts from McCracken's essay.

...Recent statistics have shown an increasing exodus of young people from churches, especially after they leave home and live on their own. In a 2007 study, Lifeway Research determined that 70% of young Protestant adults between 18-22 stop attending church regularly.

Statistics like these have created something of a mania in recent years, as baby-boomer evangelical leaders frantically assess what they have done wrong (why didn't megachurches work to attract youth in the long term?) and scramble to figure out a plan to keep young members engaged in the life of the church.

Increasingly, the "plan" has taken the form of a total image overhaul, where efforts are made to rebrand Christianity as hip, countercultural, relevant. As a result, in the early 2000s, we got something called "the emerging church"—a sort of postmodern stab at an evangelical reform movement. Perhaps because it was too "let's rethink everything" radical, it fizzled quickly. But the impulse behind it—to rehabilitate Christianity's image and make it "cool"—remains.

There are various ways that churches attempt to be cool. For some, it means trying to seem more culturally savvy. The pastor quotes Stephen Colbert or references Lady Gaga during his sermon, or a church sponsors a screening of the R-rated "No Country For Old Men." For others, the emphasis is on looking cool, perhaps by giving the pastor a metrosexual makeover, with skinny jeans and an $80 haircut, or by insisting on trendy eco-friendly paper and helvetica-only fonts on all printed materials. Then there is the option of holding a worship service in a bar or nightclub (as is the case for L.A.'s Mosaic church, whose downtown location meets at a nightspot called Club Mayan).

"Wannabe cool" Christianity also manifests itself as an obsession with being on the technological cutting edge. Churches like Central Christian in Las Vegas and Liquid Church in New Brunswick, N.J., for example, have online church services where people can have a worship experience at an "iCampus." Many other churches now encourage texting, Twitter and iPhone interaction with the pastor during their services.

But one of the most popular—and arguably most unseemly—methods of making Christianity hip is to make it shocking. What better way to appeal to younger generations than to push the envelope and go where no fundamentalist has gone before?...

But are these gimmicks really going to bring young people back to church? Is this what people really come to church for? Maybe sex sermons and indie- rock worship music do help in getting people in the door, and maybe even in winning new converts. But what sort of Christianity are they being converted to?

In his book, "The Courage to Be Protestant," David Wells writes:"The born-again, marketing church has calculated that unless it makes deep, serious cultural adaptations, it will go out of business, especially with the younger generations. What it has not considered carefully enough is that it may well be putting itself out of business with God...

While Political Dissidents Suffer, Castro Daughter Demands Tolerance for Sexual Deviants

In yet another example that wickedness, want and weirdness are all doing well in Communist Cuba, here's a quick report on the debut tonight of a documentary film (hitting the big screen, no less) about the "pioneering" Mavi Sussel, Cuba's first transsexual to undergo "gender reassignment surgery."

Sure to be in the audience will be the daughter of dictator Raul Castro, Mariela. After all, she is the director of the state's sexual education office who has pushed so hard for increased freedom and acceptance for homosexuals, lesbians, bisexuals, transvestites, and the "genderly reassigned."

But not political dissidents, of course.

No, freedom is a heady thing and must be carefully awarded only to those who deserve it. Like sexual deviants.

(The photo above, from IPS News, shows Ms. Castro at last year's "street conga dance against homophobia" in Havana.)

CNN: George W. a Better Communicator Than Barack?

Jennifer Rubin is spot on in these remarks written for Commentary Magazine.

During the campaign, many conservatives, including me, were mystified by the media’s assertion that Obama was the most eloquent man of his era. He was charismatic and inspiring, we were lectured. But conservatives could barely figure out what he was saying (”We are the change we have been waiting for”) or contain their guffaws when he spouted hackneyed phrases (”This is the moment when we must come together to save this planet”) and college-freshmen (apologies to the many bright students) rhetoric (”America, this is our moment.” And, let’s not forget, “This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.”) It seemed gibberish to many of us. But at least it was all of the same piece, all recycled leftist sloganeering.

Now, after 18 months, it seems as though even former advisors and much of the liberal media (OK, there is some overlap there) have given up on Obama and are pronouncing him “incoherent.” CNN (yeah, CNN) reports in the wake of the Ground Zero mosque debacle:
“The danger here is an incoherent presidency,” said David Morey, vice chairman of the Core Strategy Group, who provided communications advice to Obama’s 2008 campaign. “Simpler is better, and rising above these issues and leading by controlling the dialogue is what the presidency is all about. So I think that’s the job they have to do more effectively as they have in the past [in the campaign].” … New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd wrote in a recent column that Obama’s clarity and successful messaging during the campaign are gone. In place is a “incoherent president,” who’s “with the banks, he’s against the banks. He’s leaving Afghanistan, he’s staying in Afghanistan. He strains at being a populist, but his head is in the clouds.”

And just to twist the knife, CNN acknowledges that George W. Bush was a more effective communicator:
"While many poked fun at former President George W. Bush for mispronouncing words and stumbling through sentences, observers note that he rarely had to backtrack on his answers because he employed a simple and direct messaging approach."

Yowser!

So Obama has gone from inspirational to exasperating for his followers and cheerleaders. Maybe he just ran out of left-wing bumper-sticker phrases. Perhaps, you know, there’s not a brilliant mind at work but a panicked liberal pol who can’t seem to slide through sticky situations with gauzy phrases. It is a revelation to the left and a vindication to the right. Unfortunately, we have over two more years of him, and it’s generally not a good idea to have a president who has become the object of widespread derision. It tends to embolden our foes
and demoralize our friends, in this case even more than they already are.

President Obama's Expensive Propaganda Gimmicks Are a Crime...Literally

The video below takes just about a minute to watch. Please do so and pass it along.

Also, for more details about how Barack Obama's illegal propaganda spending goes far beyond these "stimulus signs," check out this report from the Heritage Foundation.

GZM: 3 Letters of Doom for Democrats?

Over here at the Ace of Spades, there's a great collection of quotes and links concerning the newest divide separating President Obama and the Democrats from the majority of Americans; namely, the Ground Zero Mosque.

Your Kid's Head Is In Danger

Here's a real head-scratcher.

Over my car radio yesterday came an alarm about the dangers of head lice to children, presenting the problem as a normal expectation of sending your kids back to school. The quick story included tips about the best products to wash your kids head with -- once a week, at least -- because infestation by these nasty critters is so rife in the schools.

Yuck, you say? Me too.

And yet the report seemed an all too appropriate metaphor for a lot of other dangers that attendance in the government schools creates for kids. For beyond the bullying, the extreme peer pressure, the antagonism to religion, and the general dumbing down of the educational standards, public school kids face intense and ongoing campaigns of philosophical indoctrination.

Here, for instance, is a 10-minute presentation from Focus on the Family's Citizen Link dealing with the public schools' increasing partnership with homosexual organizations. The purpose of such a partnership? To make sure the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered social activists become the authoritative voices in shaping your kids' opinions about sexual morality, family, spiritual values and gender politics.

And they're doing it without your permission. Usually without your awareness.

But always by the graciousness of your tax dollars.

Oh yes, Mom and Dad; there are lurking there in the public schools much greater threats to your kid's head than even blood-sucking insects. So please think long and hard before you toss little Johnny back in there.
