Cannes Abortion Film Misses the Mark
The low-budget film "4 months, 3 weeks, 2 days," a film dealing with the difficulties of obtaining illegal abortions in Communist Romania, won the top prize at the Cannes Film Festival. And the laudatory statements have begun in earnest...but not just for the movie but also for the "brave endurance" of abortionists and abortion supporters.
