Deb Fischer Is "In" With Nebraska Sheriffs

Among the endorsements of Deb Fischer in her run for the U.S. Senate, she's roped in the pro-life groups, the NRA, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Omaha World-Herald, the Farm Bureau and, most recently, 69 county sheriffs.

Very impressive.

In those endorsements coming from the sheriffs, they cited Mrs. Fischer’s leadership, integrity and support for the law enforcement community. The list of endorsers included the sheriffs of Cherry, Douglas, Lancaster and Sarpy counties.

“No one in this race is more dedicated to public safety than Deb Fischer,” said Douglas County Sheriff Timothy F. Dunning. “She will be a great friend to the law enforcement community, and her leadership, honesty, and dedication to public service will be a great asset to Nebraska in Washington.”

“Senator Fischer understands that public safety is a top priority of government, and she has helped ensure that law enforcement professionals have the resources they need to keep our communities safe,” said Dawson County Sheriff Gary W. Reiber.
