"Democrats are less religious than the typical American and Republicans are more religious."
That's not me saying it. That's the Gallup pollsters after studying the latest surveys.
"A majority of Democrats -- 52% -- say they seldom or never go to church, according to Gallup data published Monday." The study also suggests that 61% of those who call themselves Republicans attend church either weekly or "nearly weekly or monthly."
Now if only church attendance made a radical difference in the lifestyles, the prayers, the tithes and a dedication to spreading the gospel in those Republicans, we'd really have something.
