Not Optimistic About America's Future? Think Again.

Today's must read? It's gotta' be Brad Lips' article in American Thinker. Entitled "Cheer-up America! The Case for American Optimism," the article actually begins with a straightforward review of how bad off the country is. Fair enough. Denial gets us nowhere.

But Lips explains that dealing with the various crises before us will be easier than at any time in the last 70 years. Why? Because certain truths have broken through the fog of politics as usual, creating more common ground upon which to build solutions.

And who should we thank for this new dawn of consciousness?

"First and foremost, thank Barack Obama."
