The Omaha City Elections: Good News But With A Challenge

The good news is that mayoral candidate Hal Daub and City Council candidate Chip Maxwell (see discussion of these two candidates in this Vital Signs post) are moving on to the general election just a few weeks away.

The challenging news is that these races look to be very, very close.

Daub - 35.6%, Suttle - 34.3%

Jerram - 23.1%, Chip Maxwell - 22.9%

And there's an awful lot of room for movement. Yesterday's primary elections drew just 18% of registered voters.

It's time to get the word out about Daub and Maxwell, two experienced and outspokenly pro-life candidates. And a good way to start would be to forward yesterday's post to every Omahan you know.
