On Defiance, Heroes and Israel's Election

On this momentous day when Israel elects a president, Quin Hillyer's essay in Jewish World Review makes terrific reading. Hillyer, an associate editor at the Washington Examiner and a senior editor of The American Spectator, frequently appears at JWR but the essay today is unique, combining thoughtful and touching comments on Israel's election; on America's changed attitude towards Israel; on Benjamin Netanyahu and his heroic soldier brother, Jonathan (pictured here); on the film, Defiance, and more. Good stuff.
