Hamas Terrorism and Murder Directed at Palestinians Too

Amnesty International, not usually the type to issue a report slamming an enemy of Israel, nevertheless has publicly accused Hamas security forces and armed militias of torturing and murdering dozens of Palestinian men in just the last few weeks. Those victims are people who Hamas has decided are "collaborators" with Israel (i.e., members of Palestinian Authority security forces and members of the Fatah party.)

The report claims that Hamas has murdered at least two dozen men since December.

"Scores of others have been shot in the legs, knee-capped or inflicted with other injuries intended to cause severe disability, subjected to severe beatings ... or otherwise tortured or ill-treated."

"Hamas forces and militias in the Gaza Strip have engaged in a campaign of abductions, deliberate and unlawful killings, torture and death threats against those they accuse of 'collaborating' with Israel, as well as opponents and critics."

The AI report also said that some of the victims were shot dead in their hospital beds. "The perpetrators of these attacks did not conceal their weapons or keep a low profile, but, on the contrary, behaved in a carefree and confident -- almost ostentatious -- manner."

Amnesty International has called on the "Hamas de facto administration" to immediately end this terrorism and murder -- and also to yield to an impartial, independent investigation where witnesses would be guaranteed protection and justice meted out to those guilty.

Like that's gonna' happen.
