Abul Taher reports for the Times (U.K.) that the public's perception that Islamic law might someday be enforced in Great Britain is incorrect. It is already being enforced!
Here at Vital Signs, we have highlighted this matter several times before including this post from back in February which even then explained that sharia law was underway. But yesterday's story gives more recent details about how the system is working out, including the "legal" acceptance of Muslim exploitation and suppression of women.
What the story only hints at, however, is a problem even more far-reaching -- the grievous error of Western civilization relinquishing to a backward and intolerant few her most precious virtues: freedom, justice, representative government, and national sovereignty.
