Claire and I are in Kansas City for one of our rare and treasured mini-vacations (this one will be about 36 hours) so blogging was a little limited this morning. We've got a museum tour, a BBQ lunch, and a couple more of our favorite spots to hit on this rainy/foggy day before heading over to Kauffman Stadium (with its new, gigantic, Hi-Def scoreboard) to see if our New York Yankees can eke out a win against the resurgent Royals.
We sat through a cold drizzle last night to see a woeful, Jeter-less Yankee team struggle at the plate (and on the mound too) in a pretty pitiful 0-4 loss. But hope springs eternal and all that, right? So, if the game isn't called, we'll be there along the third base line rooting, like a large percentage even of this Kansas City crowd, for the Yankee pinstripes to prevail.
Anyhow, I did squeeze out a few posts I think you'll find of interest. They are below. And, yes, we're back home tomorrow morning so Vital Signs Blog will open as usual.
