China Breaks into the Banks to Enforce One-Child-Only Policy

The thugs in charge of Communist China's one-child policy, a program involving harsh persecution, forced abortions, prison terms and other rather un-Olympic values, are now requiring bankers to provide the government full access to the finances of individuals suspected of violating the policy. The purpose of the move is to create new pressures on the few couples who have been willing (and financially able) to pay the severe fines for breaking the rules. Having control of a couple's bank accounts and credit records will, of course, give the government powerful new leverage in their ongoing war against children.

And that's today's Olympic moment.
