A couple of weeks ago I posted an entry here about the Democrats voting against appropriating $30 million to detect and treat HIV/AIDS in newborn babies. In fact, the Dems pushed (and got) a provision that would specifically cancel a program designed to do just that.Well, here is a piece from Porkbusters that shines yet more light on the issue. It explains what a dastardly and counter-productive move the Democrats committed with their vote and it also exposes a few of the incredibly dumb actions of the Centers for Disease Control that the Dems apparantly do support...like funding seminars on flirting, the "proper" use of male escorts, etc.
