$5 Gas? Gee, Thanks, Mr.President.

"Today's high gas prices are a painful reminder that there's much more work to do to free ourselves from our dependence on foreign oil and take control of our energy future."

That's what President Barack Obama said yesterday. And yes, he said it with a straight face.

Here's what I say today after paying $65 to fill up my gas tank -- "Today's high gas prices are a direct result of President Obama's failed programs and foolish priorities. Those astronomical gas prices emphasize how Obama's bowing and scraping to Muslim potentates has backfired even as they show what a disaster has been the President's refusal to allow American companies to take advantage of fuel resources in our own backyard."

As summer comes round and absurd gas prices cause you to cancel your vacation and buy a goat instead of firing up the lawnmower, please remember just who vetoed the Keystone pipeline, who prohibited offshore drilling, and who desperately needs to be retired from office ASAP.
