Therefore, having the Drudge Report direct a spotlight to the mega-abortion corporation is really bad news for Planned Parenthood.
After all, Planned Parenthood loves to hide the facts about what they really do from the American public. And, after a season where many state legislatures have already cut funding to Planned Parenthood and undercover videos have exposed Planned Parenthood workers of covering up very serious crimes, the lucrative abortion business just can't afford to have its inner workings exposed even more.
So when one of the web's most well-visited sites links to a news story that uses Planned Parenthood's own figures to expose some very dirty laundry...well, that's not a comfortable thing for PP. Nor is a comfortable thing for the Democrat Party that so zealously promotes and protects them.
For what chances does Planned Parenthood have to keep up its "apple pie" charity image when Americans learn that:
* The Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) received $487.4 million in tax dollars over the last 12-month period for which the data is all in.
* During that same 12-month period, Planned Parenthood destroyed 329,455 preborn boys and girls by surgical abortion. And that number is increasing every year.
* The number of adoption referrals made by Planned Parenthood, already infinitesimal, declined still further.
Matt Drudge did his job. Now you do yours. Pass these facts on to friends, family, church leaders and your political representatives. We have got to turn up the heat on this nefarious and loathsome abortion giant.
