UN Report Slams Arizona, Insists on Applying International Law

Critics of government globalism have always been denounced by academia and the mainstream press as nativist cranks or religious crackpots, even as the reasons for fearing a "new world order" became clearer, more compelling and more abundant -- the ascension of leftist, Nanny State politics in the West; the subjugation of sovereignty by the European Union; the extended reach of the United Nations; the surrender of national governments to "world" treaties and international courts; etc.

And this move to globalism (a move dictated by socialism, pro-abortion population controllers, the politics of envy, and disdain for Judaeo-Christian values) is increasing every day.

One of the latest examples is this week's report from the Global Migration Group (one of the innumerable UN agencies) which viciously criticizes and threatens the State of Arizona. That report equates supporters to “xenophobes and racists” and, though it did not specifically name Arizona, the intent was transparent to everyone. The report pronounced as shameful those nations who are "human rights abusers," nations who viewed illegal immigrants “through the lens of sovereignty, border security or law enforcement, sometimes driven by hostile domestic constituencies.”

Furthermore, the UN agency insisted that governments grant illegals “economic, social, and cultural rights” which, among other things, include labor protections, legal redress of grievances, health care, bi-lingual schools and, you guessed it, “reproductive healthcare.”

The report also called for "international law" to assume authority over these situations.

Do you still think critics of a one world government are the crazy ones?

And remember, the current President of the United States feels more respect and loyalty to the UN than he does to Arizona. For it is Barack Obama who refuses to enforce Arizona law or even the federal immigration laws that predate SB 1070. It is Barack Obama who shamelessly groveled before the UN, apologizing for Arizona's law and promising to use his Justice Department to defeat it.

What can be done about the encroaching powers of globalism? It's the same agenda as always: pray fervently, stand for freedom by raising its banner for all to see, and provide the encouragement and support needed to those who fight for liberty and the Rule of Law in the political arena.
