A most vivid illustration of how "Democrat compassion" works is seen in the revelations of Joe Biden's charitable giving. It turns out that Vice President Biden and his wife, Jill, earned $333,000 in 2009. From that, their charitable donations were less than $5,000 -- less than 1.5% of their income.We certainly gave more than that in charitable donations last year as I'm sure many of you did too -- although none of us are anywhere close to making $333,000.
Oh yes, Democrats like our Vice-President are mighty generous folks -- but they're only generous with other people's money.
Joe might argue, of course, that he doesn't need to give money when he's given the country the sweet gift of himself. That's worth more than any monetary amount, right? Right. Where's the exchange department?
