Lights, cameras, teleprompters!
Our President certainly loves it when the world's eyes are on him. Endless travel. Photo ops. TV interviews. Magazine covers. Horning in on popular rituals like NCAA championship games, the Super Bowl, and the Olympics.
But, every once in awhile, he wants the cameras turned off, the reporters silent and the spotlight turned away.
Like when he's doing something dastardly and wildly unpopular. Like this moment mentioned by ABC's Jake Tapper:
"Behind closed doors and with no cameras present, President Obama signed into law Friday afternoon the bill raising the public debt limit from $12.394 trillion to $14.294 trillion."
