I'm afraid Vital Signs Blog's unexpected, bothersome sabbatical will continue for at least another day or two.
Yes, the "trojan horse" that evaded three different spyware protection programs and still overwhelmed our computer has finally been eradicated. Yippee. But for a remarkably stiff fee, I'm sad to say.
However, the surgery that removed the virus from our booting system has also removed a few essentials. It's kinda' like going in for an expensive appendectomy which, though successful in that particular aim, also takes out a few nerves, a kidney and one's oppossable thumbs!
Claire is working with the computer techs to restore those neccesities and we hope to be back blogging ASAP.
By the way, the protection now guarding the computer is Kaspersky.
