Uh, excuse me; I don't want to be a downer at the party here but I do think it relevant to point out something that the movies, TV shows, magazines and all the other entertainment agents that shape the sexual attitudes of American girls are tending to omit; namely, that half of the girls (14-17) who engage in sexual activity will contract a serious sexual disease within two years of their first hookup!
And having chlamydia, gonorrhea and/or trichomoniasis...well, that's much more of a downer than just the embarrassment of being warned about it.
