The trial of Norman Hsu, felonious fundraiser for the Democrats (well, one of the worst individuals of the bunch -- ACORN is a whole other matter) hasn't received heavy press at all. This despite the huge amounts he secured and the closeness he enjoyed to Bill and Hillary Clinton and other high-ranking party leaders.
When you reflect on the barrels of ink that old-guard media have used on even whiffs of scandal that attach to conservatives, you see once again the truly degenerate bias of the Western press.
Hsu was so clearly guilty that he was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Nevertheless, the stories running in most newspapers are brief, buried deep, and are carefully sanitized; that is, they don't pursue the details of how warm were the friendships between the fundraiser and his Democrat friends nor do they use this fraud as a springboard to examine other Democrat-connected scandals that have emerged...like ACORN.
Instead we learn (as in this AP report) how sweet a guy Hsu is, how much he gave to charity, and how he has been a teacher and mentor while in stir.
