Down's Syndrome Man Starved in British Hospital: No One Held Responsible

Whether it was a callous disregard for human life, an act of vicious discrimination because the patient was Down's Syndrome, or an example of the most inept and despicable medical care imaginable, Martin Ryan is dead -- starved to death by the staff of Britain's Kingston-upon-Thames hospital.

And nobody is being held responsible?

Even though Mr. Martin had been left in his bed without any nutrition for 26 days?

In a statement, Kingston Hospital’s chief executive Kate Grimes accepted that the hospital’s failure to provide nutrition was “inexcusable” and said staff had been deeply affected by the tragedy.

The staff has been deeply affected! Good grief; what a chilling, terrible statement.

What about Martin Ryan? What about his family and friends? What about the fears now being experienced by the disabled, the poor, the elderly and the disaffected all over Britain who now doubtfully wonder what kind of care they will receive if, God forbid, they must go to a hospital?
