Randy Alcorn's blog alerted me to the poignant and profound 15-miute film, Volition. Written and directed by Tim Morgan, the film is a powerful statement about the moral priorities and spiritual rewards involved in "doing justice" -- even when it requires courage and sacrifice. Emphasizing the perils which threatened the sanctity and inherent dignity of human life in the days of American slavery, Nazi Germany and which still endanger the innocent in our modern world, the makers of this film have done a tremendous service.
With provocative lighting, a haunting musical score, a marked brevity of dialogue and several other distinctive cinematic features, Volition is a very effective, very memorable film.
And they tell me it was shot in three days?
Impressive, indeed.
I encourage you to watch it and pass it on to others.
