British Parliament Nixes Abortion Restrictions

Little surprise here.

I mean, it's the same members of Parliament involved who a few days ago voted for research using "hybrids" of animals and humans. There are several stories around the web about this tragedy including this basic A.P. piece. And, yes, all of them will make you very sad. So I'll let Ann Widdecombe, long-time conservative member of Parliament, speak for us all:

"Two children of exactly the same age and gestation - one is in a cot with all the resources of medical science being poured into saving it and the other is quite deliberately being taken from the womb and destroyed. That is moral anarchy. That is a totally unjustifiable state of affairs."
