Al-Qaida Leader Insists Armed Struggle Must Continue; Criticizes Muslims Who Abandon Jihad Tactics

Ayman al-Zawahri, the terrorist that many intelligence leaders suggest is al-Qaida's operational chief, is certainly doing his part to make sure that Islam remains a religion of coercion, intolerance and violence. Indeed, al-Zawahri's online book published yesterday on several web sites villifies those Muslims who have dared to denounce attacks on civilians, suicide bombings, and vengeance killings.

al-Zawahri insists that armed struggle, especially when arranged against enemies like Israel and the United States must continue. "It serves the interests of the Crusader-Zionist alliance with the Arab leaders to drug the mujahideen and drag them away from the confrontation," he writes.
