Health Official Wants Sex Ed for Kindergarten Kids

Every day in Great Britain about 20 schoolgirls, girls between the ages of 13 and 15, mind you, are becoming pregnant. That's according to new figures presented by the Department for Children, Schools and Families. The World Health Organisation says more children are having sex in Britain than in any other country in Europe. The WHO says that 4 out of every 10 girls in England have under-age sex, with only slightly lower figures marked in Wales and Scotland. Not surprisingly, the rates of sexually transmitted diseases are continuing to rise.

So, how does the chairman of the British Medical Association’s Scottish consultants’ committee respond to these alarming figures? Does he suggest the common sense approach that would seek to revive moral standards, increase parental authority, fight against the sexual saturation of media, and so on.

Of course not. Dr. Charles Saunders is an enlightened intellectual, a progressive thinker who insists on ridding culture of old-fashioned ideas...no matter how sound, effective and necessary they may be.

Instead, Dr. Saunders believes the only way to counter the negative effects of the sexual revolution is to take the revolution yet farther. Indeed, he suggests that sex education in the government schools should begin at kindergarten. Uh huh; I'm not making this up. Saunders wants sex education for kids as young as five with the school system distributing contraceptives to children from the age of 13 on.

An nescis, mi fili, quantilla sapientia mundus regatur? (Don't you know then, my son, how little wisdom rules the world?)
