George Will isn't enamored with the prospect of a Fred Thompson run for the Republican nomination for President. Why? Well, 1) he's all-too-aware of the desperate and unrealistic hope for someone other than the existing possibilities; 2) he doesn't think Thompson is serious enough (or skilled enough) to raise the $1.5 million a week it will take to run a legitimate race; and 3) he remembers Thompson's terribly un-conservative "election reforms."
