In America, certain people seek to deny professional status for anybody that disagrees with the pack -- despite whatever facts the dissidents can marshal against what passes for today's version of political-correctness. We've effectively done this in matters of abortion, Darwinian evolution, traditional gender and sexuality issues, parental authority, historical revisionism, religion, property rights, and more.
