Calling Women Names: Malkin Ponders the Double Standard.

About the liberal outrage over Rush Limbaugh's "slut" comment -- a word he used to describe a promiscuous unmarried feminist who demands that the government pay for her birth control pills.

(Hmm. Isn't that exactly what the word...oh, never mind.)

Anyhow, in this important column, Michelle Malkin wonders just where the anger has been when conservative women have been consistently slimed by "progressive" bullies. Indeed, it has been open season on Republican women for a long time but the scathing, slanderous, locker room epithets that liberals have used recently for women like Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Ann Coulter, and Michelle herself have been especially horrorific.

But unlike the Georgetown student, conservative women who have been called names get no one in the press (or the White House) to come to their defense.

And they don't deserve the things they've been called.
