If I started to post here the parts of Victor Davis Hanson's essay that I thought were really important for you to read -- the parts that would prompt weeping and gnashing of teeth and, I hope, prayer and a new resolve to fight back against the forces of chaos -- I would be printing the whole thing.
So I'll not take the space, trusting you instead to go on over and read VDH's column in NRO, "A Vandalized Valley." It is one of the most frightening, yet motivating, pieces I've read in quite awhile.
