The Girl Scouts, touting their standing as a tolerant, "inclusive" organization has just accepted a boy into the troop.
Rachelle Trujillo, the vice president of communications with Girl Scouts of Colorado, told reporters, "We have privacy rights that we are very respectful of with families. We do not require proof of gender when a family wants their daughter to be a member of Girl Scouts.” However, Trujillo quickly added that boys who are "living like boys" will not be admitted.
Said Ms. Trujillo, “The child must be living life as a girl.”
