I'm sure that this Reuters story didn't create any smiles in the White House this morning. Or in the Capitol Hill offices of anyone with a "D" after their name. Because it's an awfully grim report on the Left's increasing discontent and apathy with Team Obama.Whether it's homosexual hecklers (and "hibernators") disappointed with the "Don't Ask/Don't Tell" policy, Latinos who haven't got an immigration bill yet, environmentalists who naively thought Obama would appoint Al Gore as Planet Czar -- the Democrats are in deep trouble with their friends.
And we're not even mentioning the conservatives, independents and common sense Democrats that are already in full-throated cry against the President's deconstruction of America.
Barack Obama is such a committed ideologue that he genuinely may not care about the way the country has turned since his election. But I have a strong feeling that aspirin and bicarbonate of soda are selling well in the Congressional pharmacy nowadays.
