Barack Obama: The Great Divider

Barack Obama continues to talk from his teleprompter about being a unifier -- but his actions show that he is actually determined to divide America's future from it's Christian past.

But not only does the President want to marginalize authentic Christianity and its conservative moral values, he is pushing hard into more sinister and alarming territory; namely, denying freedom of conscience, promoting and even requiring taxpayer funding of abortion, and promoting aberrant sexual behavior. The latter goal is served by "value-free" sex ed programs, ultra-liberal judicial appointments, and numerous appointments of homosexual activists to high-ranking policy posts.

Case in point? Obama's choice of Harry Knox, a homosexual activist and vicious critic of Christianity to...get this...the President’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

Speaking out against this terrible appointment are several Christian leaders (primarily Catholics) including a few Republican statesmen -- Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind), Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.), former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).

Others signing the protest letter include L. Brent Bozell, III from the Media Research Center; Judie Brown, President of American Life League; Bill Donohue, President of the Catholic League; Chuck Donovan and Tom McClusky from the Family Research Council: Kate O’Beirne, President of National Review Institute; Austin Ruse, President of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute; and Phyllis Schlafly, President of Eagle Forum.

Fred Lucas from CNS News has a lot more on this story, including examples of Knox' extremism (Knox has called the Knights of Columbus "foot soldiers of a discredited army of oppression").

But the important step to take here is joining in the prayers AND the letters of protest against this dishonest, divisive appointment. Contact the White House to let them know your opinions ASAP.
