U.S. State Department is "Aware" that Christians Are Being Murdered

As spoken of here Monday, over 100 Christians have been murdered in just the last couple of weeks -- all killed by Muslim terrorists. 21 people killed by a church bomb in Egypt; 86 slaughtered in Nigeria; and 2 more Christians murdered in Iraq which added to the 46 (and 7 security personnel) destroyed in a Baghdad church in October.

The U.S. State Department has finally noticed.

Spokesman Philip Crowley said. "We are certainly aware of a recent string of attacks against Christians from Iraq to Egypt to Nigeria. We are deeply concerned about what seems to be an increasing trend. There are pressures on minority groups in these countries, and we would hope and expect that ... in those respective governments, we'll fully investigate these attacks and bring those responsible to justice."

"Certainly aware?" "What seems to be an increasing trend?" "Hope and expect" that justice will prevail?

The Obama administration's record on pursuing human rights, especially the rights of Christians around the world to be protected from terrorism, torture, imprisonment, and murder, has been pitiful. And the State Department's weak response to the Christmas violence doesn't suggest anything will change.
