It's the 11th Hour

The wacky season is at its worst as the Democrats duck and dodge, pontificate and prevaricate, and engage in some of their most outrageous character assassinations ever.

* An audio tape has surfaced of an aide to Attorney General Jerry Brown referring to Meg Whitman, his rival in California governor's race as "a whore." And Brown is heard saying, “Well, I’m going to use that." Excuse me, where is the feminist uproar?

* Joe Biden's lies about the administration's economic performance wasn't thrilling the crowd -- even though the crowd was composed of Democrats who had come to give money. So what does the arrogant Vice-Preseident do? He blames them for his boring performance. “You’re the dullest audience I’ve ever spoken to."

* Democrat Congressman Alan Grayson has compared Republicans to "Nazis," likened Dick Cheney to a vampire, stated that Rush Limbaugh was "more lucid when he was a drug addict" and is now running an ad which maliciously distorts his opponent Dan Webster's religious beliefs and calls him "Taliban Dan Webster."

* The list goes on. Democrats are desperate to get some of the votes they've lost due to their own incompetence, arrogance, overspending and lack of transparency. So, it's back to the usual tactics of 11th-hour attacks (revved up a few notches) in which the other side doesn't have time to fully counter and which no court requires an ultimate payment.
