Wesley J. Smith has a splendid column today exploring the latest attack of "Green Panic" hitting the United Nations. And when such hysteria takes over, we all know where it leads: an expensive international conference at which there will loads of overheated and wildly exaggerated rhetoric aimed at the United States, capitalism, human exceptionalism and sanctity of life ethics, national sovereignty and, of course, common sense.Still, Smith's analysis and insightful puncturing of the balloon is well worth reading anyway.
