President Obama's job approval numbers have reached a new low in the Gallup daily tracking poll.
Obama now garners 45% approval and 48% disapproval. Of course, the one point difference from his previous low of 46% isn't very significant, statistically speaking.
That last line is a strange caveat from The Hill's Eric Zimmerman who, one naturally supposes, wants to somehow, some way soften this extremely hard-hitting blow to the President's agenda.
A more relevant closing for the Gallup finding would have been -- "President Obama's confidence that his approval numbers would dramatically increase after the health care bill was signed proves to have been woefully naive. Indeed, it turns out that the more Americans get to know ObamaCare, the less they like both ObamaCare and Obama himself. The President and his party are in trouble."
