This glib God-line was thrown out by President Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast a couple of weeks ago. However, the line represents not only bad theology, but as this brief FRC video clip dramatically illustrates, the ardently pro-abortion Barack Obama doesn't at all believe what he's saying.
As Cathy Ruse concludes, "They should have scheduled a Q & A [session afterward]. What should we see when we look through the screen of an ultrasound machine at the sweet little closed eyes of a baby? It would be impossible for President Obama to answer that question in any way that would not utterly undercut the central theme of his speech. And above my pay grade would be the worst answer. A word to the White House image mavens: The rank hypocrisy here will be clear to the majority of Americans who are pro-life, and no doubt to many in the minority who are not."
