The religious freedom blog Un:dhimmi (via Tea & Politics) alerted me to the riveting video clip I post below.
As Un:dhimmi says, it is "disturbing, eye-opening documentary footage detailing the slow-motion annihilation of one of the world’s oldest Christian communities...To a greater or lesser degree, this is what Christian communities suffer in virtually every Muslim country on the planet – but nowhere is Islamic supremacism brought into such sharp relief as when it occurs here – in the home of victimology. Show it to everyone you know."
I posted the following in the Comments Section of the Un:dhimmi post:
If only the West would see and hear more of what is happening to the victims of persecution around the world. But where is 60 Minutes? Where is Dateline? Where are TIME and Newsweek?
The recent surge of compassion towards those suffering from the Haiti earthquake prove that the American people will respond when they see dire needs. But our media, government and even our churches refuse to highlight the persecution of Christians. Therefore, whether they face the brutality of Communism or the irrational arrogance of radical Islam, Christians and others of conscience must suffer alone.
Thank you for posting this arresting video clip. May it open the eyes and minds of many -- to prayer, advocacy, and support.
