A funny thing happened on the way to all those global warming disasters.The planet got cold. Really cold!
And that's just the latest development that has made 2009 such a bad year for global warming alarmists.
First, there was the increased visibility in 2009 (thanks to the alternative media) of a truckload of empirical scientists who exposed the "doofus science" and the political manipulations of the global warming crowd.
Second, there was the dripping hypocrisy of Al Gore, green politicians, Hollywood activists who proved they were only against your energy consumption, but never, ever their own.
Third, the polls continued to show that, despite the continual efforts of the Left who pushed the global warming mania through all their powerful forms, the public still yawned.
Fourth, the Climate-gate e-mail scandal that showed how far the global warming leaders would go in covering up the scientific facts which didn't fit into their political and ideological grid.
And finally, number five -- the record-breaking winter weather.
So, if you're thinking it's been a bitter winter so far, think how bitter the winter has been for Al Gore and his Chicken Little pals who were oh-so-close to scaring everybody into a daring socialist revolution.
