The Most Transparent Administration Ever: "We Want to Ensure that Every Question the Russian Military Asks is Answered."

Now please understand this at the outset...I'm not making this up. It is not satire; it is not sarcasm; it is not exaggeration to make a point.

It's really happening.

Russia and the United States have tentatively agreed to a weapons inspection program that would allow Russians to visit nuclear sites in America to count missiles and warheads.

The plan, which Fox News has learned was agreed to in principle during negotiations, would constitute the most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said publicly Tuesday that the two nations have made "considerable" progress toward reaching agreement on a new strategic arms treaty.

The 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, or START, expires in December and negotiators have been racing to reach agreement on a successor.

Clinton said the U.S. would be as transparent as possible.

"We want to ensure that every question that the Russian military or Russian government asks is answered," she said, calling missile defense "another area for deep cooperation between our countries."

Points of this story to take your breath away?

1) "The most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted" and "We want to ensure that every question that the Russian military or Russian government asks is answered." Yipes. This is much more than a mere "reset" of American/Russian relationships. So far, the policies represented by President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton towards Russia resembles the young pup rolling over and baring his neck to the bigger, tougher dog who comes into his yard. This ain't good.

2) "Clinton said the U.S. would be as transparent as possible." Hmm. After all the secret deliberations, the closed-door meetings, the refusal to give pertinent information to the press, the ongoing hiding of key documents and transcripts, and legislation that Congressional leaders refused to let the American people even read, I was sure wondering in what ways the Obama administration was going to be (as promised) the most open and transparent in history. Now I know. He meant...gulp...transparency with enemy powers.

Excuse me, I gotta' go take a couple of aspirins.
