Here's another of those class-action lawsuits that clog up the system, stifle business and make nobody money except the lawyers. Pitney Bowes was charged with improperly sending faxes to customers of a toner business that it had taken over back in 2007. The court decided against the office supply business with members of the lawsuit being awarded discount coupons for PB services and products.
But the lawyers? They made just short of a million dollars.
Nice work if you can get it. (That is, if niggling matters like ethics don't concern you.)
