Urging a quick approval of Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama used his weekly radio address on Saturday to express his tender hopes that "we can avoid the political posturing and ideological brinksmanship [sic] that has bogged down this process, and Congress, in the past."Which, of course, means -- if you're a nice person, you'll vote for my girl, no questions asked.
This from a man who voted to filibuster the nomination of Samuel Alito.
In fact, Barack Obama is the only President who has ever voted to filibuster a Supreme Court nominee.
Once again, non-partisanship cuts only one way with this guy.
