Not when they're in power and can marginalize, demonize, and harass conservatives.Therefore, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is not even slightly embarrassed by her department's eerie "intelligence assessment" which describes American citizens who are (take your pick) pro-life, defenders of the 2nd Amendment, bothered by illegal immigration, or military veterans as terrorist risks!
Indeed, she's come out defending this bizarre document. For crying out loud, she even went so far as saying the report on these "right-wing extremists" "struck a nerve as someone personally involved in the Timothy McVeigh prosecution."
And you thought Janet Reno was a dangerous ideologue.
