When More Is Less: The Negative Effects of Multi-Tasking

Harvey Gilbert, our friend and pro-life colleague who (alas) now lives in the Kansas City area, still keeps in contact. That's important. And that's good. For true and tested friendships are much too crucial a help along life's way to abandon just because of hectic schedules or distance.

Anyhow, remembering a LifeSharer letter I wrote last summer about multi-tasking, Harvey sent along a very interesting article from the online newsletter of Christian counseling legend, Gary Collins.

It's a brief piece highlighting points about multi-tasking gleaned from recent articles in Monitor on Psychology, Psychotherapy Networker, and iBrain. And, as you'll see, there's a bit more danger in multi-tasking than you might imagine.
