Bill Clinton is, according to CNN's "science stooge" Dr. Sanjay Gupta, a man who has studied the issue of stem cells. No kidding? Then why does Clinton go on to repeatedly talk of the acceptable morality of experimenting on human embryos -- as long as they're not fertilized!Huh?
That's right; our former President's study of the issues somehow failed to uncover Fact One of the matter. By definition, an embryo is what happens when a female egg has been fertilized! You can't get more basic than that. So, how can you interpret Clinton's performance as anything besides either 1) bizarre ignorance or 2) the most outrageous gobbledygook deliberately designed to deceive CNN's gullible viewers?
Considering that Gupta (Obama's first choice for Surgeon General, remember?) never once corrected Bill's bonehead assertions, it is hard not to conclude the latter.
