Despite the endless, alarmist and even coercive hype...only 41% of U.S. voters believe in man-made global warming.And the number is steadily falling.
But will this matter to Al Gore and the Democrats who now control Washington (and your tax dollars)? Of course not. For if they don't let scientific facts or economic realities stand in their way, why should they be bothered about a little thing like public opinion?
After all, their desire is, at heart, to reshape the American political system into a more socialistic model and the American culture into a more freewheeling secularism. And with the press and the courts behind them, public opinion just doesn't matter.
Expect Congress to pursue a full court press on global warming (despite the woeful economy, despite the beliefs of American citizens, and despite the frigid temperatures across the globe) starting tomorrow.
