Every Friday afternoon or evening. I send out by e-mail the links to the Top Ten posts from the 25-35 that have appeared on Vital Signs blog the previous week. It's been a popular service and more are signing up to receive the Top Ten all the time.
After all, we are all very busy. And though we know there is a lot of important news, commentary and action alerts traveling through cyberspace that are of relevance to our lives, the sheer volume of that material can easily overwhelm us.
The Vital Signs Weekly Review is one way to deal with that problem.
For even if you've been too busy to surf the net, the Top Ten allows you to see the titles of what I think have been the most compelling items of the week. We even provide direct links for each title.
To some of our friends, the weekly e-mail serves as a reminder to visit the Vital Signs blog and read through all of the week's posts. Some just have time for the Top Ten. And I'm sure there's a lot who just scan through the list, note two or three that most catch their interest, and zip over to read just those stories. That's terrific. Here at Vital Signs blog, we truly want to help you stay informed, stay stimulated to take appropriate action, and yet not get swept under by the "data deluge" that modern technology has unleashed upon us.
The Vital Signs Weekly Review (Top Ten) is, of course, free; all you have to do is send me a request to be included on our list. Contact me at vitalsigns@vitalsignsministries.org
