The University of Colorado is Looking to Hire a "Pet" Conservative

Colorado University is known to be a bastion of liberalism. Well, that's true of virtually every "major" university in the country. But in Boulder, where only 32 of the more than 800 faculty members are Republicans, I guess they're more aware of their loony-lurching leftism than most.

So much so, in fact, that the chancellor has come up with a novel idea -- "Let's hire a conservative, set him up in a pretty little classroom, and then pat ourselves on the back for being so doggone diversified!"

You'd think a math and science guy (which Bud Peterson is) would have a little better idea of what constitutes balance and equity, wouldn't you?

Here's the WSJ story.
