The United Nations: Looking for Human Rights Abuses in All the Wrong Places

The United Nations' Human Rights Council has proven to be just as much of a farce (a very expensive, deceitful and sinister farce) as its hugely discredited predecessor, the U.N. Commission on Human Rights. After two years, it is bad business as usual.

"Verbiage in homage to human rights is issued at great length while the council excuses the world's worst human-rights abusers. It then proceeds to target Western countries which mostly uphold human rights."

Here is a well-argued indictment of the agency in this Washington Times editorial.

I suggest another quick e-mail or phone call is in order to your Congressman and Senator. Alert them to this editorial and tell them the abuses it highlights show all the more reason why the United States interests are ill served by continuing to play (and bankroll!) the United Nations crooked games.
