In a move surely pleasing to Jimmy Carter, a group of some 35 Southern Baptist leaders, including the denomination's president, Rev. Frank Page, have hopped on the global warming bandwagon. True, it is only a few leaders but the signers of "A Southern Baptist Declaration on the Environment and Climate Change" hope to convince their church congregations to start accepting their "biblical duty to stop global warming."
